The short answer: what “best” means for a science student
The best online academy in Pakistan for Matric and FSc science is not the one with the loudest advertising. It is the one that teaches your Punjab Board textbook chapter by chapter, explains numericals and diagrams clearly, gives you enough MCQs to practise, and shows you where you are weak. Everything else is decoration.
Science is different from arts subjects. You cannot learn Physics by reading, and you cannot score in Chemistry without writing equations and solving numericals by hand. So an academy that is perfect for English or Pakistan Studies may still be weak for science. This guide gives you a science-specific way to judge any academy: first by level (9th to 12th), then by what science students really need.
If you want a general checklist that works for any subject, read How to Choose the Best Online Academy in Pakistan first. This page goes deeper into Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Computer Science.
Judge an academy differently at each level
9th class: base and habit
A new 9th class student needs the textbook explained from the start, short lectures and many small quizzes. The academy should help you build a daily routine. If you are starting out, see the 9th class study plan and the 9th class science pairing scheme guide.
10th class: paper practice
In 10th class you finish the syllabus and move towards the board exam. Look for timed tests, past papers arranged by chapter, and a revision system for 9th class chapters too, because the board paper covers the whole Matric science syllabus. See the 10th class weekly routine.
11th class: concepts and speed
FSc Part 1 brings longer chapters and heavier numericals. You need lectures you can pause, an easy way to find the exact topic again, and a question bank big enough that you are not solving the same ten questions again and again. Our FSc page and the FSc Part 1 study plan explain this stage.
12th class: revision and entry tests
In FSc Part 2 many students also prepare for an entry test. An academy should help you revise Part 1 while you study Part 2, and should be honest about what is board syllabus and what is extra for the test. See MDCAT, ECAT and ICS preparation pages.

What science students need that other students do not
1. Numericals solved step by step
A good lecture writes the data, the formula, the substitution and the unit on the screen, then solves. It should show the common mistake too. After the lecture there should be similar questions for you to try. We explain our own method in numerical solving tips for Physics and Chemistry.
2. Diagrams you can actually copy
Biology and Physics papers ask for labelled diagrams. A clear diagram drawn slowly, with labels added one by one, is worth more than ten slides of text. Check if the teacher draws while explaining.
3. Practical knowledge
Practicals are held at your school or college, but the viva and the practical copy need theory. A good academy revises apparatus, procedure, observations and precautions in simple words.
4. A real MCQ bank
The objective part of every science paper needs speed and accuracy. That comes only from many chapter-wise MCQs with explanations, not from reading alone. Creative Taleem has 2 lakh+ MCQs across the whole app, but the point is the same for any academy: ask how many MCQs exist for your class and subject.
5. Quick doubt solving
Science doubts do not wait. If one step of a numerical is unclear, the next ten steps fail. Look for a teacher chat or an AI tutor that answers at night too. Read how this works in AI tutor for students in Pakistan.
A quick check for each science subject
- Physics. Does the lecture explain the idea first, then the formula, then the numerical? Are units and conversions shown every time?
- Chemistry. Are equations balanced on screen? Are mole calculations and the periodic table patterns explained, not just stated?
- Biology. Are diagrams drawn and labelled? Are definitions and differences given in short, paper-ready form?
- Mathematics. Is every step of a solution shown, including the rough work? Can you try the exercise question yourself before seeing the solution?
- Computer Science. Are programs and logic explained line by line? Are there practice questions on the exact chapters of your textbook?
Three tests only a science student can run
Before you commit, run these tests on any academy. Each takes about twenty minutes.
- The numerical test. Pick one numerical you got wrong in school. Search the academy’s lectures for that topic. Does the explanation show you why your answer was wrong?
- The diagram test. Open a lecture with a diagram. Pause and copy it in your notebook. Could you draw it again tomorrow without looking?
- The MCQ test. Take a ten-question quiz on a chapter you studied last month. Read the explanations for the questions you missed. Do they teach something, or only show the correct option?
An academy that passes all three is worth a longer trial. If it fails the first one, it will probably fail you in the harder chapters too.
Honest signs and warning signs
Be careful with any academy that promises marks, a position or admission. Results depend on your effort and on the paper. Also be careful with posters of toppers that give no name, year or permission. A trustworthy academy shows you its content, explains its fee and refund terms in writing, and lets you try before you decide.
For the official side, always keep your board’s website at hand. Boards such as BISE Lahore and BISE Gujranwala publish notifications, date sheets and model papers. If an academy says something about the exam that your board’s website does not say, trust the board.
One academy for all nine Punjab boards
The Punjab textbooks are the same for every Punjab board, so the lectures are the same. The difference is in how each board sets the paper, which is why you should always practise with your own board’s model paper.
Students of all nine Punjab boards can use these guides:
- BISE Lahore
- BISE Rawalpindi
- BISE Gujranwala
- BISE Faisalabad
- BISE Multan
- BISE Sargodha
- BISE Sahiwal
- BISE Dera Ghazi Khan
- BISE Bahawalpur

Frequently asked questions
Which is the best online academy in Pakistan for Matric and FSc science?
No one ranks academies independently, so the honest answer is: the one that matches your board, your class and the way you study. For science, check that it teaches numericals step by step, shows diagrams clearly, has chapter-wise MCQs and gives you a way to see your weak chapters. Use the checks in this guide on every academy you consider, including ours.
Does the syllabus differ between Punjab boards?
The nine Punjab boards (Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Multan, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Dera Ghazi Khan and Bahawalpur) follow the same Punjab textbooks for the same class. Paper style and question selection can differ a little from board to board, so always look at your own board’s model paper and notifications.
Can an online academy teach Physics and Chemistry numericals properly?
Yes, if the lecture solves numericals slowly on screen, writes the given data, formula and units, and lets you pause and repeat. A lecture that only reads the textbook is not enough for numericals. You also need practice questions after each lecture.
What about practicals if I study online?
Practicals are held at your school or college, under your board’s rules. An online academy can help you revise the theory behind each experiment, the apparatus and the viva questions, but it cannot replace the practical exam itself.
Should a 9th class student choose an academy differently from a 12th class student?
Yes. In 9th class the main need is a strong base and regular habits. In 10th class it is paper practice. In 11th and 12th the concepts and numericals become heavier, so pausable recorded lectures, a larger question bank and quick doubt solving matter more.
How do I know if an academy is working for me?
After two to three weeks, check three things: can you now solve a type of numerical you could not solve before, do your quiz scores in a chapter go up when you repeat it, and are you studying on more days than before. If the answer is no, change something instead of waiting.
