What a guess paper is for, and what it is not
Think of a guess paper as a filter. A 10th class science book is large, and a filter built from past paper trends shows which questions the board likes to ask in some form. That saves time in the last weeks. It cannot name the questions of your paper, and any page that claims it can is not honest with you.
The right order is simple: study the chapter, then test yourself with the guess questions of that chapter, then return to the textbook for everything you could not write.

A revision loop for the guess paper
- Choose one chapter you have finished. Skip chapters you have not read yet.
- Close the book and write. Answer each guess question on paper, with units, equations or labels as the subject needs.
- Check with a different colour. Add what is missing in blue or red, so that your gaps stay visible.
- Revisit after three days. Answer the questions you marked once more, without notes.
- Close with MCQs. A short quiz of the same chapter checks the facts that written answers may not touch.
Subject habits for the final weeks
Physics
Redo one numerical from each chapter every week, and keep the formulas of the electricity chapters on a single card. Practise ray and circuit diagrams until they come without help.
Chemistry
Draw organic structures instead of only naming them, and balance every equation you write. A table of functional groups saves a lot of time in revision.
Biology
Practise the main diagram of each body system, and write the steps of coordination and reproduction as numbered points.
Mathematics
Solve a full set under a clock once a week, and keep a mistakes page. Neat figures in the circle chapters pay off.
Computer Science
Write small Python programs by hand and say aloud what each line does. Keep a glossary for AI and data terms.
Traps to avoid
- Reading a guess paper like a story instead of answering it.
- Skipping a chapter because its questions are not on the list.
- Believing any page that claims to know the exact paper.
- Leaving the MCQs for the last evening.
- Never comparing your written answers with the textbook.

What exactly is a 10th class guess paper?
It is a list of expected and important questions that comes from studying past papers and the textbook. It is a revision aid and not the real paper, and nobody can say which questions will be asked.
When in the year should I start using the guess paper?
After you have been through a chapter once. The guess paper is revision, so it works best on chapters you already know, and the closing weeks before the exam are its natural place.
Does it cover Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths and Computer Science?
Yes, all five science subjects have their own page, linked at the top. Science group students prepare Biology or Computer Science along with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
I study under BISE Multan. Can I use this guess paper?
Yes. Students of the Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Multan, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Dera Ghazi Khan and Bahawalpur boards study the same Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board syllabus, so the guess paper serves all nine. Where your own board sends a different notice, that one decides.
Is it based on the new books of the 10th class?
It follows the new Punjab Board syllabus and the present textbooks, and questions are taken from the chapters of the new books.
Can the guess paper replace the textbook?
No. It points to what is important, but wording of definitions, steps of numericals and diagrams must come from the textbook and its exercises.
