11th Class Physics Guess Paper 2027 Punjab Board

A Physics guess paper is a list of expected and important questions built from past paper analysis. It is not the real paper, and its value depends on how you practise it. This page shows how to use the 11th class Physics guess paper for the Punjab Board, with students of every board from Lahore to Bahawalpur in mind.

What a Physics guess paper is, and what it is not

The Physics guess paper collects questions that keep coming back in board papers: definitions, derivations, short reasons and numericals. It tells you what deserves extra revision. It cannot tell you what will be asked, so no part of the syllabus can be dropped because it is missing from the list.

The theory paper has long questions in two parts, so the best use of the list is to practise a derivation and a numerical from the same area together. See the 11th class Physics pairing scheme.

Question types to practise in first-year Physics

  • Definitions that must carry their SI unit.
  • Short reasoning questions that ask why something happens.
  • Derivations that can be written in clear numbered steps.
  • Numericals that combine two formulas from one chapter.
  • Diagram-based questions on optics, waves and circuits.

Four weeks of work with the Physics guess paper

  1. Week one: take Measurements, Force and Motion and Circular and Rotational Motion, and write out every definition and derivation of the three chapters.
  2. Week two: solve the numericals of Work, Energy and Power, Solids and Fluid Dynamics and Heat and Thermodynamics, with units on every line.
  3. Week three: cover Waves and Vibrations, Physical Optics and Electrostatics, then draw the diagrams from memory.
  4. Week four: finish the remaining chapters, then sit one mixed paper of MCQs and written questions in a single session.
  5. After each week, redo the five questions you found hardest.

Physics habits that help in the last weeks

  • Say the formula and its unit aloud before you touch the numbers.
  • Draw force, ray and circuit diagrams on rough paper first, then copy the neat one.
  • Keep a small page of constants and conversion factors beside you while practising.
  • After a numerical, check whether the size of the answer is sensible.
  • Put the practical file in your weekly plan, because it is a separate 15 marks.

Physics guess paper mistakes to avoid

  • Memorising a derivation without knowing the assumption behind it.
  • Practising only numericals because they feel scoring, and ignoring theory.
  • Treating an expected question as a certain question.
  • Reading the guess paper only once and never writing the answers.

To revise the chapters behind these questions, use the Physics textbook, and see the FSc programme page for chapter-wise lectures.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Physics guess paper useful for BISE Sahiwal students as well?

Yes. It is written for students of all nine Punjab boards, including Sahiwal, since they study the same syllabus and textbook. Follow your own board notice if it ever differs.

Does the guess paper list the exact numericals that will come?

No. It points to the kinds of numericals the board has asked before. Practise the whole exercise, then use the list to decide where to spend extra time.

When in the session should I start the Physics guess paper?

After you have finished a chapter once. Used before that, it turns into a reading list rather than revision.

How should I split time between derivations and numericals?

Alternate them across days. A derivation day and a numerical day keep both skills fresh, and each week ends with a mixed set.

Can I rely on the guess paper alone for Physics?

No. The textbook gives the exact wording and the exercises give practice. The guess paper only helps you order your revision.

Is the guess paper based on the new Physics book?

It follows the new Punjab Board syllabus and the present textbook, so chapter names and numbers match the twelve chapters listed on the pairing scheme page.
